Recipe for a Memorable Story
- Start in the action: Jump right into a real moment in your home — at the front door, in the kitchen, on a walk, or on the living room rug.
- True & first-person: Share a real experience from your own life, marriage, or family (a few paragraphs up to 1,200 words is ideal).
- Speak from the heart (no AI): Please write your story in your own voice. Funny, tender, and ordinary moments are welcome.
- $ $200 honorarium upon publication: Submitting is free. If Candace selects and publishes your story in one of the books, she will contact you by email and pay a $200 contributor honorarium upon publication.
